SKaGeN presents Bigmouth

Monologue by Valentijn Dhaenens

Valentijn Dhaenens returns to his praised performance DegrotemonD, now played in several languages and titled Bigmouth. Dhaenens collected fragments from well-known and less known speeches of Martin Luther King, G.W. Bush and Osama Bin Laden, and turned them into an impressive monologue, showing that the tricks of rhetoric never really changed.

All speeches are English spoken or subtiteld in English.

Op vraag van het STAGE FESTIVAL in Helsinki herwerkte Valentijn Dhaenens zijn monoloog DegrotemonD tot Bigmouth. Deze internationale versie van de voorstelling is in Vlaanderen slechts 1 maal te zien, tijdens STUK START. Alle speeches zijn in het Engels of worden boventiteld in het Engels.
